Hillary Clinton, White Feminist Extraordinaire

Bill Clinton, on Obama :

A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee

Hillary Clinton :

I love this quote. It’s from Mahatma Gandhi. He ran a gas station down in St. Louis for a couple of years. Mr. Gandhi, do you still go to the gas station? A lot of wisdom comes out of that gas station

So it’s not news to y’all, Hillary Clinton is an excellent example of the specimen we call White Feminists. She is bad news to people of colour, in the US and outside. She is known for her racist rhetoric against Prez Obama, her love for Corporate systems, her love for bombing brown/black nations, her (previous) unwillingness to adopt LGBTQ rights, she supports the “the further militarization of the Mexico border and the arrest of undocumented immigrants, undermining the reproductive rights of women who give birth in chains in detention centers before being deported back to lives of poverty and violence”

Bill? Just look at his history with his so-called ‘black friends’: Lani Guinier? He appointed her to head the Justice Department’s civil rights division. But as soon as opposition arose, he dumped his “good friend.” Jocelyn Elders, his pick for surgeon general, got replaced on the drop of a hat for talking about masturbation. His economic sanctions have killed about a million Iraqi civilians, a majority of them children. Hillary, in her book has stated her support & approval of all the above deeds of her husband.

Select quotes from the above article :

Despite trumpeting her work on behalf of “mothers and children,” she and her husband worked to reduce federal assistance to women and children living in poverty. In her book,Living History, Clinton touts her role: “By the time Bill and I left the White House, welfare rolls had dropped 60 percent.” This 60% drop was not due to a 60% decrease in poverty. Instead, it was a reduction in federal benefits to those living in poverty, many of them working poor, like those employed at Wal-Mart.

In Michelle Alexander’s book, The New Jim Crow, she notes that it was Hillary Clinton who lobbied Congress to expand the drug war and mass incarceration in ways that we continue to live with today, and that have a significantly more harmful impact on black and brown people than white people. According to The Drug Policy Alliance, people of color are much more likely to be stopped, searched, arrested, convicted, harshly sentenced and saddled with a lifelong criminal record due to being unfairly targeted for drug law violations.

As Secretary of State, Clinton left a legacy that included both a hawkish inclination to recommend the use of military force coupled with “turning the state department into a machine for promoting U.S. business.” This does not bode well for black and brown people in other parts of the world, since the US is not likely to attack Western Europe under a (second) Clinton presidency, but some region of the world with people who do not have light-colored skin tones.

I’ve been told to shut up & sit down many times already on Jezebel when I criticized Hillary Clinton’s scary policies. Everybody says “Well, the republicans are worse” but they really seem oblivious to the danger of pushing this Hillary Hype to the max & denying other Democrats to make their stand on the Election Cycle. This woman is bad for Black & Latinos, Immigrants, Muslims, probably the LGBTQ community, and basically everyone on the poorer side of the spectrum.
